Welcome to BMCC
Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is accredited by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education and offers a wide range of academic programs that will prepare you for a successful future.
Why Community College?
BMCC is a community college. A community college is a 2 year, junior college where you can complete your first 2 years and earn an Associate degree. After earning an Associate degree, many BMCC students transfer to a 4 year, senior college to earn a Bachelor’s degree. This is much less expensive than doing all 4 years at a senior college.
BMCC is the affordable, inclusive, and smart way to begin your university experience in the U.S.

Why International Students Choose BMCC
More than 600 international students, representing 112 countries and speaking 111 languages, start their educational journey at BMCC for quality learning and savings.
• Located in one of the world's premier locations; lower Manhattan steps away from the One World Trade Center, Wall Street, Battery Park, and more.
